Modern Controls in Street Fighter 6 are absolute bullshit.

My brother, who hasn't played a fighting game since the GameCube, beat the ever living shit out of me using them.

 

There's just been a significant uptick in how many of those games have come out lately or have been announced. It's just a strange trend and I hope other companies don't feel obligated to jump on that trend.

Whoever said it's like the brown era of games is absolutely correct.

I bought Forspoken

 

Blasphemous: aside from something that reveals hidden platforms, I haven't gotten any new movement abilities. Gotten a few upgrades to health, potions, and mana, which most certainly help, but I don't really feel like my character is progressing very much. It's more combat oriented than, say, Ori where each new area gives you a new ability that changes how you maneuver through the world. But the combat itself is just attack, dodge, parry, attack. I'm enjoying the exploration/metroidvania aspects of the game, but much of the gameplay itself feels kind of... bland. The art style and music are nice, I guess, but as far as the story I don't have any idea wtf is going on

 

It's also a soulslike also so yeah that all tracks haha

Just saw Across the Spiderverse. Hell yeah.

 

Diablo 4 has way too many side quests that I feel like there’s no real benefit to doing unless I’m missing something. the world scales and you level up plenty from following the story

 

Capcom will send you a generous care package in the mail for actually buying that.
