Outer banks is the best beach on the east coast.

Atlantic city is awful every other beach in NJ is better

 

What the hell has happened over the last 3-4 hours?

 

i know folks who like wildwood and cape may but yeah, if im going to atlantic city it is 1,000% not for the beach lol

I genuinely doubt Outer Banks beaches are better than the good ones in Florida. I know we all hate Florida but like, it DOES have the best beaches for swimming on this side of the country. (New England might have the best east coast beaches overall but I ain’t swimming in that shit unless it’s August lol)

I DEFINITELY try to hit north FL beaches every time I go home to Jacksonville. It’s too easy. They have nightlife and culture and civilization, they’re only 30-35 minutes from the center of town but they’re also never crowded with tourism… and plenty of it is pretty untouched / undeveloped land and nature preserves. And Jax itself doesn’t have the golden sand and turquoise water of south FL but St Augustine does.

OBX is so isolated, I get why someone who’s never lived in FL would love OBX but I’m spoiled. Can’t imagine driving that far to the middle of nowhere, just to still not get as good of a beach as I had less than an hour from where I grew up

OBX is the best because the only thing to do there is sit on the beach and it's never crowded. I don't want people or boardwalks or activities. Just the beach and a cooler of beer.

fewer people than Hanna Park / Anastasia State Park? I kinda doubt it lol. OBX is actually a “destination” for people from much more populous areas. Jax isn’t
