Welp… so I’ve been chasing the alt-art Giratina from Lost Origin for a good while now and just found a pretty decent cut at a card shop, locally.

Heavily considering just throwing in the towel and buying it outright and bringing an end to my near-(actually probably)-obsessive chase.

Feels like I’m giving up… lol

that seems weird, I haven't tried it yet. Are they intentionally limiting it to ease servers or something?

 

No, I think it’s always been that way. If they had a select all or something, it would be easier. I haven’t had any lag or anything like some have, at least.

 

the right trigger changes the selection mode to allow for mass moving. you can also release up to 100 mon at a time. I've cleared out about 2000 mon going back to 2013 since yesterday lol

ZL and ZR lets you cycle through the selection choices. The option with the green square lets you select multiple mons.

I recently got into collecting the cards and this shit is addicting.

English 151 set drops in September and the Japanese set was just announced to be "made to order."

I think that should happen with every set. Screw scalpers and screw $100+ cards. Dudes need to get a real job instead of destroying hobbies for "investing."

 

paldea evolved is the first set in years that i havent bought a booster box for. as much fun as opening packs is ive finally drilled it into my head that its so much more economical to buy singles rather than hope i pull the stuff i want. im not swearing off sealed product but its honestly such a crapshoot, just ends up being a money sink.

i did just manage to complete my trainer gallery collection and it was such a journey, the amount of the money i spent on it + the sense of accomplishment might be why im more comfortable with taking a bit of step back now too.
