This is why for us. Curfew on a 17/18+ show is later than an all ages show.

 

I know it’s a long shot we get all of them but what I would do for AFI (sing the sorrow), Silverstein (when broken is easily fixed), and Finch (what it is to burn) album plays.

I doubt that AFI album play happens. It seems they were stern on their Forum show this year being the only time they play it

 

It's also ten years of This is How the Wind Shifts by Silverstein which i would wayyy rather seen in its entirety than WBIEF

2 days before Riot Fest

 

Im arriving to Chicago on the 13th, I will try to go to Black Country New Road or to Loathe that night.

 

My bet is that Blur does some US shows next year. I think it might be limited to EU/UK this year, and then more worldwide stuff next year (or at least I hope. I’m tryna see Blur!)

 

I know they are playing Japan and South America this year, but yeah probably next year. Hopefully they will tour and not only NY and LA like last couple times.

 

Oh I wasn’t aware of their SA and Japan shows!

Maybe just fests in UK/EU next year, then shows/fests in the states next year. I feel like with their new album they gotta do some more touring next year

Remember when people thought RF might end up in Riis? I mean, this is in less than a month, 20K tickets sold (!) - insane they haven't gotten the OK yet.

 

I've been telling everyone that it's in jeopardy...

We won't know for a couple more weeks but it has not been on any Park District agenda. If they somehow got it approved under the radar before the changes took effect...

And, to the credit of the alderman (who is my new alderman), she knows that her approval really means nothing. It's something taken into consideration by the Park District board but that's about it.

 

Janelle Monae just announced a tour hitting Chicago around RF but I can't tell if they're coming Thursday the 14th (Admats/LiveNation) or Friday the 15th (Her site/presale sign up) but I'm all in if it's on Thursday

Guessing it'll be two nights, and Thursday is actually on sale first but the team posted Friday by mistake on the website. Livenation has Thursday. But yes I'm in the same boat, I really want to go so it better be Thursday
