Blue Bell is the best store bought ice cream

My favorite local place to get ice cream is DEFINITELY B’more licks, not only are they drastically cheaper than like Ben & Jerry’s but they have hand spun soft serve ice cream too - and they have tons of flavors of it. Soft serve is my favorite.

my favorite cake is pretty easily Carrot cake. I also quite enjoy Rum cake.

 

I finally found the Tillamook flavor Campfire Peanut Butter Cup this weekend, and it was v good

 

Hagan Daz. Not spellchecking it but that's the best widely available store bought. That and talenti.

 

Ben and Jerry’s is my favorite, but that’s mainly because I like it when ice cream throws a bunch of other desserts into it and still calls it ice cream and they’re the best at doing that

they have Jeni’s in Washington state now so I’m assuming it’s everywhere and that’s my favorite if we’re talking ice cream flavor on its own

Blue Bell > Haagen Dazs, Breyers, Ben & Jerry’s, etc all of those bigger brands

I’m with @CarpetElf that Tillamook is really good too, probably the only one that competes with Blue Bell

(however you can’t count Talenti, that’s gelato)

 

I was going to say that I thought Blue Bell was more of a southern thing but the internet says in 2015 they were the number 2 ice cream company in the US

 

With store bought ice cream, I don’t care at all about having a lot of crazy flavors. I mean I’ve had the dessert Ben & Jerry’s flavors and all that and genuinely I’d rather have vanilla, cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, or like blueberry cheesecake ice cream than any of those.

What I care about is are your simple flavors creamy and delicious. Blue Bell is elite in that category. I find other ice creams to be too hard and feel like you’re eating more ice than cream. This is why I love that my favorite ice cream shop in Baltimore sells a wide variety of hand-spun soft serve ice cream.

I would bet Ben & Jerry’s is number 1 and dominates the north, I mean they even sell it in 7-eleven haha
