The beach is dumb after, like, three hours

 

Yeah my point is there are ways around that haha.

Sand is annoying but possible to minimize. I usually have no issues keeping it off of everything except my feet - which I resolve by keeping my shoes off the sand and not putting them on until I’ve rinsed my feet at the showers. And I put whatever blanket or towel I was sitting on inside a plastic bag to contain that sand.

I am adamant about making sure I get little to no sand in my car and it’s usually fine as long as I take the proper preventative measures

The best is having one of your best friends own a pool and hot tub so I can use both all the time but don’t have to take care of either.

I bring plenty of alcohol, weed, my guitar, a Bluetooth speaker, and a soccer ball / frisbee / football. And picnic food (or stuff to grill if they have beachside grills.)

it can be a fun whole day if you make it one.

Well Randall, I don’t drink alcohol anymore, I can’t smoke weed, and I don’t know how to play guitar and, even if I did know how to play guitar, I wouldn’t bring it and play it at the beach

so my options are a bit limited

 

Chorus dot fm beach day except instead of a soccer ball we bring a football and see how much ball we really know

 

This is not a dig against you Randall, but if I show up to the beach and see an acoustic guitar i immediately want to turn around lol

 

I love swimming though that’s the whole point of doing all that at the beach lol. Swimming in waves while high and/or tipsy is just pure fun

 

I’m usually in and out of the water 3-4 times throughout the day when I go to the beach

 

Yeah swimming is cool, but you’re not selling me on swimming in the ocean by telling me it’s fun to do while high/tipsy lol

 

as a former lifeguard for like 14 years please do not go in the ocean high or drunk lol

 

Catch me going for long walks along the shoreline listening to music for miles

 

If you’re not sitting with that group you can barely hear it. The wind and the waves drown it out

also I’m good and people usually *want* me to bring my guitar lol

I have never gone to a beach and thought “I want someone to bring their guitar”

 

I am a very strong swimmer and being high doesn’t impair your body

I wouldn’t do it drunk, but I’m fine tipsy
