it’s really just the fact that Mahomes is actually better under pressure to improvise that makes him rare. Best way to beat him is to drop into man coverage and hope your guys can win one on ones. He’s uniquely unpredictable in that way. Has just the right balance of doing off the wall shit to keep defenses off guard, but keeping it reigned in just enough to pull it off the few times he takes an enormous risk.

He does things defenses can’t prepare for because no other QB can do them. I’ve never seen a no look pass before his career, let alone Mahomes completing multiple of those every season. I’ve never seen a QB do a spin move and immediately throw a back corner toe tapping TD. He’s just reinventing the game all the time. Pretty soon he’s gonna be doing backflips over defenders and throwing the ball accurately while he’s upside down or something, I wouldn’t put it past that fucking guy
