    It's all hell.

I think Potter's reputation has taken a significant battering due to Chelsea's difficult season due to their pathetic leadership and insane transfer strategy, but would probably do a great job for Spurs if given the right tools and the freedom to manage the squad in the way he was able to at Brighton.

  2. I’d be ok with Potter. Which means it won’t be him.

  3. Never heard of this source but just do it. He’s going to walk for free next year anyways. Just get a fee for him.

They’re huge in Spain and half gossip, half reliable.

The fleece is in. About time a club rinsed Levy in a similar manner he does to others lol

Tbf if you own a club and Spurs come for your manager, you must be able to smell the desperation on them right now.

They should just pay up for someone, accept it as an expense, and move on. Managers are worth more than players really.

Can't blame Feyenoord for wanting more. I'm guessing Spurs expected Slot to play hardball and force his way out for less. And he obviously didn't do that. Now we're scrambling.

Passing on Poch. Not getting Nagelsmann, for whatever the reason may be. All seemed fine to me because there was consistent links to Slot and it seemed like that was the guy they really wanted all along. But I guess they didn't want him bad enough to avoid more embarrassment and dysfunction.

Now Poch is taken. Probably burned any bridge there was with Nagelsmann. Not getting Slot. And all the tertiary targets are either talking to other clubs or turned off by the mess we've, yet again, created.

I've seen Rodgers and Postecoglou pop up this morning post-Slot news. Both are underwhelming.

Just appoint Potter and be done with it. I'm not even sure he'll work out, but it's more appealing than the other options we've left ourselves with.

Said it from the start, but Big Ange Postecoglou would be a great hire I feel. The squad maybe isn't currently perfect for how he'd like to play, but I reckon given a year or so, he could have them playing some great stuff.

  10. But tbh, if I'm Potter I'd say no.

  11. Amorim I guess is still an option? But I'm pretty sure Levy pissed off everyone at Sporting in the Porro negotiations so I wouldn't expect that to happen.

Who would of thought at the start of the season that Willian would end up with a higher goal + assist contribution than Sterling, Mount, Ziyech, Pulisic, Mudryk or Gallagher. Chelsea fans must be seething.

  13. I've read his team plays an exciting brand but....

    South Melbourne
    Australia U17/U20
    Panachaiki
    Whittlesea Zebras
    Brisbane Roar
    Melbourne Victory
    Australia
    Yokahama F. Marinos
    Celtic

.....is not an exciting CV lol

Maybe that doesn't matter and he'd end up being good. But I think it's way more likely it'd fail.

Angeball-> RDZball. His Celtic team is so much fun. Spurs don’t have the squad for it I don’t think though.

Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish league, on the racist insults to Vini Jr:

"The great players, like Ronaldo and Messi, are the ones who receive the most insults. One for homophobic themes, another for intellectual disability."

La Liga still waiting for that elusive one normal day

Love potter but I’m not sure he’s the guy to take spurs to the next level. Feels like offensively his system is limited. When he was here it was trossard doing magic to score and since he left, floodgates opened up.

Amorim would be great and perhaps a good option for Spurs’ squad. He plays a back three but his centre backs are so important and Spurs have one decent ball playing central defender. He’d make use of Spurs plentiful wingbacks though.

If they can get him, they 100% should. He had a rough season domestically but they improved in the second half. He’d be good, but will need about 3 windows to upgrade the squad.

But again, does he want to risk it at Spurs or wait for a job that is easier.

  20. Amorim would be terrific but I've just lost any hope of getting the right guy lol

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

Aren't Spurs still paying for Mourinho?

If I were them I'd rather take the risk on a manager who would be willing to use "cheaper" talent.
