Barca losing two nil to Vallodolid and thus helping relegate Espanyol hmm :chin:

Rumour is that we have the finances to spend heavily this summer. Not to mention we aim to sell Xhaka, Partey, Tierney, Balogun, and if we can, Pepe. That’s £120m+ easily if we play it right.

Rice is an expensive one, but Mount and Gundogan are names I’ve heard and whilst I don’t know how real that is, they’d both be on a free I believe. There’s also been rumours for a while that ESR, if he stays and I hope he does, has been training as an 8.

I can see us aiming for a LB, 2 cm’s, and a right winger.

Xavi’s trying to convert him into the next Busquets. It’ll be… something… to watch.

First I've heard of this! I must say, part of me thought you were being satirical haha

  9. Is Xavi Simons supposed to make a big move this summer? I’m curious if Slot would have any pull for him at Spurs.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Every source I’ve seen has said he wasn’t leaving so this would be a stunning turn of events

It’s been a late season adjustment. He’s fallen to fifth choice CB, but has good distribution.

Caicedo is good as gone this summer and with arsenal’s interest previously, have to assume they at least kick the tires on him.

Rice and Caicedo are definitely the dream, but I can’t see us spending ~£160m on two midfielders in one window

Slot has a lot of potential but I hope Spurs fans realise he was sacked while at AZ for not being committed to his job once he learnt about Feyenoord's interest.

Imagine if a bigger club comes in for him while he's at Spurs in a year or two? This is all hypothetical, of course, but Spurs are crying out for stability and the last thing they need is another managerial turnover in the not so distant future.

£55m for Mount is insanity, given our overall summer budget and his contract situation. I wouldn't be 100% against the signing, but not for that price.

One of the most exciting attacking left backs ever. More than his fair share of shithousery, but the connection he had with Messi and Dani Alves in all of their primes will be something I’ll always be grateful to have watched. Truly sublime footy.

Pique, Busquets, and Alba all gone in the span of six months. Time really does come for everyone. I think that just leaves ter Stegen and Sergi Roberto from the last UCL win.
