went to the Lambertville/New Hope Pride parade yesterday, out to dinner last night

went to some open houses today and did some stuff around the house

hopefully this last weekend before the holiday is an easy one at work!

if only the tickets weren't more than my mortgage payment

 

Even at full price they aren't that expensive and everyone has been running 99 dollar tickets the last few weeks

 

I remember looking up packages for the weekend with a hotel and it was legitimately like $3k

 

ive been watching at least 3 or 4 games a week and i still dont understand how the new rules work lol

 

I'm not sure of all of the changes. But I just know I saw a clock with 15-20 seconds on it, and the pitcher always pitched before it hit 0.

 

yea im just confused as hell about what they do to get penalty strikes/when they can call timeout/etc

i seem to be in the minority of people ik in that ive always liked the slower pace of baseball but dont really feel much of the difference watching timewise so pretty indifferent at this point

 

Kenny Pickett does not like IPAs. Cut him.

 

Not only is Pool Kids & PUP an A++++ pop punk / emo show, that is fully hitting its ceiling in terms of how cathartic, skilled, and accurate these performances & crowds are,

but I also made back what I spent on the ticket in street busking tips even though I got there late and only played for 45 minutes. HELL yeah. People in line that saw me busk have been recognizing me in the venue, saying I sounded sick, and following my IG page.

I’m now doing this every time I come to a show at 930 club.

ive never heard them before afaik but will do. i always like to see all the opening bands at shows

The weird part of that isn’t Ben wishing that Kenny didn’t ball out — idk who in their right mind gets forced out of their job and then immediately thinks “wow I hope my successor kicks ass and proves them right to have replaced me”

It’s the part where he said that he told Kenny he used to feel that way. I don’t know how that could have possibly gone down without Kenny leaving the conversation thinking “what the fuck dude, why are you telling me this?”

 

Chiefs need to incorporate a yellow jersey/helmet

 

I think the yellow jersey with the red helmet would fit better actually. I'm afraid the white arrowhead on a yellow helmet would not pop and get lost in the brightness of the yellow

 

I was thinking yellow helmet with black alternates

 

Chiefs have no business utilizing a black alternate jersey and I think NFL teams in general should stop entertaining them

I think some teams obviously rock the black jerseys: Steelers, Raiders, Ravens, Panthers, Falcons (even though their current jerseys are arguably the worst in the league).

I think other teams do a solid job with them too like the Jaguars, Eagles, and Jets, but I wouldn't mind if their black jerseys go put on the shelf. They just exist to me.

But the Commanders, Niners, and Cardinals have no business using black jerseys. They just do not work for me. I mean, maybe the Cardinals with the black helmet, but I'm still not sold on them.
