lol god dammit pulled the trigger on that price on StubHub cause I couldn't read the market last week. luckily sharing this with some pals will push them to go.

 

this is the best Offspring song in recent years

 

Wild take to me, but then again I recently stated Splinter and their new album are my least favorite Offspring albums. Mostly because they dick around so much on both of them and I feel it drags the overall quality down.

It's especially frustrating with the new one since they were "working on it" for so long.

 

When do we think they'll announce the new single that supposedly comes out on June 2nd? Annnnd do we think any album news will come with that?

 

I’m expecting them to announce the single Monday on the week of its release. Or a week from today. And I’d looove for album info to come with it.

 

Yes I'd fully expect something to pop up next week. June 2nd will reveal album info for sure. That'd be a 4 month promotion timeline for October

 

I don’t consider it an era personally. Just felt like then doing their own thing under the blink umbrella. Kind of like all of Travis’s producer credits.

I do love the chain smokers song despite really not liking them and considering BIOMY as their worst single.

I’m definitely expecting an album announcement with the next single. Would be odd if they didn’t unless they’re still kicking around the track list or something. give us the press baby! stoked for some interviews.

 

I want to believe in this timeline, but Mark recently said the album title was still being decided, so I don’t have a ton of faith lol

I wouldn't mind that, but it'd constantly be compared and would never live up to the hype. I personally love how Untitled just sits on a shelf on it's own in so many ways (musically, blink timeline, themes)

 

but i hope they actually call this one Self Titled

Are we seeing a pretty consistent "Violence" in the set since the initial shake up? Would love if they added Not Now back in for a second try. I'm sure it'd be more received than GOTD.

I'm trying to avoid any setlist spoilers or I'd look myself.
