Atlantic City is just too damn expensive for lodging if you’re coming from out of town. It’s costing me about the same to do WWWY as it would Adjacent.

 

I've heard both Sound on Sound and Gov Ball are struggling ticket sales-wise so this isn't surprising.

 

Excited to see Militarie Gun

What's lame or corny about them? It's okay for something to be not your thing without insulting something. It's not my thing either but I get their appeal for horror buffs/metal/theatrical music people.

 

I mean the last time I saw them on a livestream the singer pretended to cut off a woman’s head and walk around the stage with it lol

I’m a big horror movie fan but it just doesn’t work for me at all in that context

 

All I know is Ice Nine Kills went at our boy Jason T many moons ago.

For anyone who caught The Hives in NYC or LA, do they still have ninjas set up their equipment?

 

So sad because of what GovBall used to be....maybe these slow ticket sales will inspire them to go back to their roots of a varied and multi genre fest instead of Rolling Loud/Jingle Ball Jr.

 

I forgot what the Gov Ball lineup was like & decided to revisit after this Livenation promo announcement to see if it was worth it... It is not.

 

Did Scowl just accidently spill the beans on The Meadows Festival returning to NYC this Fall??

Ohhh haha I've never even heard of that place. Damnit got my hopes up there.

 

For anyone in the Dallas area that was planning to see Boys Like Girls at Taste Addison, they’ve had to cancel and have been replaced by 3OH!3.

 

I think it's great that INK have gotten a lot of incredible somewhat mainstream success from the goth/alt/rock radio scene due to their complete change of style starting with The Silver Scream. It can be a bit corny and odd yeah, but it's not the same generic style of music that other bands give the same audiences.

With that said, I personally enjoyed a lot of their earlier work (which was pretty damn generic metalcore) and wish they would play more songs from that era of the band along with their horror-themed songs. Their live show is very unique for the fanbases they have aimed to grab the attention of and it's worked for them for at least 2 albums now.

 

I've never listened to this band and probably won't but this is some shit Alice Cooper has been doing since the 70s haha

 

And wow I am shocked that $uicideboy$ are playing arenas, I did NOT realize they were that big

 

I don’t think they’ll be able to fully sell any of them tbh

 

Curious how it sells. I walked by their coachella set last month and the tent was like 10% full

 

I feel like if KISS came out today people would think it's so stupid. Gimmicks are what they are. It doesn't make sense that INK has been a band for a quarter of a century
