Nothing really pointing to this being likely (unless there's truth to the FF curated stage and Dave asking him to play because they're friends), but I'd love Liam Gallagher as a second tier headliner. Would absolutely be happy to wait until next year for a 30 year DM album play though.

Question, has Riot ever teased headliners when they’ve done teasers like this before? The only one that comes to mind is Ween in 2016 but they were pretty much a co-headliner with the Lips. It seems odd to me that QOTSA were teased. I wonder if they won’t be a headliner

 

The only time I can think of was The Misfits, but that was its own special announcement.

 

I was actually wondering this. I can’t remember if they every have before but I don’t think so. Which would mean QOTSA isn’t a headliner.

 

If Goldfinger is playing, maybe MxPx will finally play since Mike would be there anyway.

 

Yeah they're just straight up tagged in the video, which is a little odd, plus they're playing a headlining show at SubT on Wednesday.

 

Morrissey was also teased in 2016 if I remember correctly

 

It was deleted but someone asked about the stuffed animal on the couch. This will be a stretch, but the Pikachu plushie sleeping on the coach followed by the No Face chopsticks made me think on Sleep Token

 

Might be the first Riot Fest I am skipping since 2017

They can have both. A stage with Scene Queen, Poppy and 100 gecs would be fun! I can even see Death Grips in there
