I am curious how this one sounds. Been eyeing a copy on eBay for two weeks now.

 

I recently completed my Thrice vinyl collection and re-listening to each album made me realize I was wrong at the time thinking Beggars and Major/Minor were weaker albums. I don’t know if it’s that analog sound making me appreciate them more or just the passage of time, but wow they are so damn good.

I bought the og press of Major/Minor a few years back. It's such a solid album, its got a lot of Frodus influence all over it.

I'll agree that Beggars and M/M are solid albums it just told me getting older to appreciate them more.

 

Jamming this classic EP. Brings me right back to being 15 it’s crazy

Ugh. Yeah, whenever I buy a record from out of the country, the shipping is basically as much as the record itself - multiple readily available UK or Canada exclusives remain on my wantlist for this reason specifically. And I bet the amount of US only pressings is probably way higher than I even realize. I feel for y’all collectors not in the states

 

Celtics pre-game listening. My girlfriend’s coworker was getting rid of some albums and gave me this, a few CSNY, and Deep Purple records. Sleeves aren’t in the best shape but they sound really good.

 

The best pure cornball rock n roll album of all time. Lead guitar tone is just irresistible

I assume you’ll be spinning it again before G7 unless you want Tatum to come to your house and kick your ass (I’m rooting for the Sixers but that’s gonna be such a good game)

I've paid for 3 copies of the record since, don't shame 17 year old me lol

 

What I wouldn’t give to have a copy of Beggars on vinyl with the original artwork.

I always felt that photo captured the vibes and theme of the record perfectly. Such a shame the leak fucked up the timing so they couldn’t get that done.

After it leaked they moved the release date up and didn’t have enough time to clear the rights, the photo was from TIME magazine I think
