im looking forward to the season no doubt how could i not after the first playoff run in 29 years, but last year seems way more like the 2015 mets felt. that team wasnt good they just got hot at the right time and went on a heater. they had no business at all being in that world series and then achieved no further success in following seasons.

i hope the giants can prove me wrong but i hold no actual faith

my employer has this retention bonus/profit sharing type program for employees of a certain level, basically after 7 years you get one big ass check, then you get another one after 10 years, then you get one every year after

was talking to someone who just got their 7 year check (9 years with the company, but 7 years at his level) and he mentioned that he just wrote a check to buy a brand new Subaru for his wife

When I was leaving my apartment yesterday a cop was walking in and asked if I was Dave, I said no and he kinda stopped me and looked at me for a minute and then said have a nice day. Fuck off Pig.

See I’m the opposite. If we’re gonna lose I’d rather it be after I was entertained by a whole day of other football, and when it makes sense to go straight to bed afterward and wake up in a fresh mood.

Too many times it’s the other way around and I watched an awful Jags game at 1 PM and now I’m not in the mood to watch other football or whatever haha
