@Jason Tate @Craig Manning Do y’all email them after to take the vinyl out of packaging for no split seams in shipping?

 

I never have in the past and haven't had any issues with this label in the past with seams.

I'm pretty stoked especially revisiting the album after all these years.

 

I don't know if I've ordered anything from this label before. In most cases, I find if the label/seller is packaging things correctly, I don't end up with split seams from shipping whether the vinyl is in the sleeve or not.

 

No Sleep might be repressing it soon. Announcement possibly this month. I got this info from a chat with their CS so who knows.

 

Nice, 10 years since it came out, so that makes sense.

 

I personally haven't had issues with TTTH.

I've ordered ETID "Gutter Phenomenon", all 3 BNO albums, Rufio "Perhaps, I Suppose", NFG, The Swellers, Finch is preordered.. (I'm realizing how much I support this label!)

I've had no issues with anything they've shipped not even a seam split come to think of it!

there was a stretch a few years back when I would stumble upon used copies of some of my favorite new releases just a few weeks after they came out. like someone who preordered the records just to take them out of the package and then sell them for super cheap. worked for me!

Yeah, I'm holding out for an SRC Kevin Gray mastered repress for ST. His remasters of all their other albums sound incredible. Just revisited the blue SRC of Enema today and it's top tier.

 

Any word if they're actually repressing? It seems they've gone quiet with their exclusives.

I have the 180g Black SRC pressing and yes it is bloody amazing. I wish I grabbed the rest of them back in 2015.

 

Not sure at all if they plan to. I'm now kind of wondering if there's really any incentive in it since I'm sure the standard issues are selling like mad.

Yeah, I was kind of burned out on pop punk for a few years (during those initial pressings) but am of course back in now that they're out of print. Haha. I've had to pay more than I wanted for the SRC Dude Ranch and Enema, but the second the needle drops on them it sounds worth it.

 

I have the 2014 Hot Topic splatter variant of Dude Ranch. It's been a minute since I've spun it but it didn't sound the greatest... I'll probably give it a spin tonight and get reacquainted.

 

This Geffen release of Dude Ranch from a while back actually uses the same KG remaster. I paid more than I should have some time ago, but prices seem more reasonable now. I can confirm it has the KPG SRC runout.

Finally bit the bullet on that 30th anniversary pressing of The Cure’s Wish. This thing is dead silent and super balanced, worth every penny of the $43 price tag. Stoked to own it
