It's so wild that I saw them in 2019 in Iowa with 4,000 people in attendance, and last week in St. Paul with 20,000 people. Night and day for real.

Not my first blink show, but I remember purchasing tickets to the Boston date of the dolla bill tour for $50 each off of eBay and thankfully they were real, lol

Yeah let’s not pretend that the California Tour wasn’t a massive success. It’s not like the band disappeared once Tom left in 2015 and were playing NFG sized venues. They had a successful run with Skiba.

They played the same venue I saw them with Tom last week back in 2016 with Skiba, Xcel Energy Center with 20,000 people. So yeah, California was a big deal.

My first concert ever was The Mark, Tom & Travis show in Worcester, MA. Just checked the setlist and it appears they played Dick Lips, Untitled Voyeur and Pathetic all in a row - I would kill for that now haha. They also encored with Mutt before Dammit which is slightly interesting.

Shout out to my dad and my friend's dad for driving us to the gig and singing Family Reunion with us on the way home.

I don't think they were saying that to imply the band was hurting for crowds at that time. I think they were just saying the band played a special club show on that run which is not even something they would consider on this tour lol. I also saw them on that tour in 2016 at a 20k amphitheater and it was mostly full even up in the lawn section.

Though from what I heard, they played that same venue in 2019 and it was not nearly that successful.... but that could have partially been because Lil Wayne decided to no-show.

I saw the reunion date in Milwaukee, Honda Civic Tour in Chicago, and Twitchcon at Petco park. Seeing them play on the field at the Padre's stadium was rad. Definitely, the closest I will ever be for a Blink show. Very happy I saw them play with Skiba too.

Wild to think Blink played with MCR and Manchester Orchestra for the Honda Civic Tour. That show ruled. They played 3-5 Neighborhoods songs on that tour.

I remember mark making a joke about how cold it was and how we’d just have to pretend they went off stage and came back for an encore lol

If i recall, they did not do the Travis drum solo that night due to how cold it was. I remember going to an outdoor BN show the next night at Tower City. It was cold that night as well, but not nearly as cold as Blink, which i believe was in the 30s.

LOL at end of September/early October outdoor shows in Cleveland.

I'm not implying that they were dead...I'm just saying that show wouldn't exist on this tour and I'm pumped to see the numbers.

I saw them for the first time in Hershey, PA, for the reunion tour. I wanted to attend a show they did at Tower Records in Maryland when TOYPAJ came out, but I wasn’t allowed.

When California Deluxe was being released, the band said that some of the songs were from the California sessions and some were written just a few weeks ago. Was there ever a breakdown of which songs from Deluxe fall into which camp?

and similar question, do we know which To The Stars demos were supposedly earmarked for Blink songs versus AvA?

Lol I just always thought it was a very generic pop punk album with nothing special to it but for whatever reason I'm really vibing with it now.

Hungover You, Heaven, and Remember To Forget Me are jams.

The only songs I believe they said were recorded during the California sessions that have been documented are Hey I’m Sorry and 6/8. Hey I’m Sorry is a Japanese bonus track from California and Mark had posted lyrics from 6/8 during the California recording.

I believe Parking Lot and Misery were recorded for the Deluxe album. I think Can’t Get You More Pregnant was too as they needed another joke song.

Everything else is a mystery but I could see songs like Good Old Days and Long Lost Feeling being left over California tracks.
