Haha I do love that scene a lot. “Thank god I didn’t ask him to park the car.”

But walking into that, Liu is in serious mode searching for Shang/The boat so it kinda still supports. He does what he does because he’s annoyed and insulted Johnny is stopping him to get some bag boy help. My initial wording used entire and that’s on me. But it is like 90% with the exception of that scene and Raiden’s weird ass laugh.

 

I love that this existed lol.

 

You know what else I was just thinking? The only character that WS Anderson and Co. made up for the first movie was Art Lean. That guy’s acting in his 4 scenes as well as his fight scene with Goro I like way more than anything Cole-related in the newer movie.

(There’s the dreads guy who fights Liu too, but he doesn’t even get named.)

Yeah I’m no expert on the lore of MK but I know he has a kid in the later ones so he does age I guess

can anyone tell me where in the MK universe we learn Johnny Cage’s real name? Is it like some Star Wars thing where it’s in a random novel?

 

Brief Google search indicates that it may have first appeared in a comic book, but anyway, Ed Boon said that's his name, so that's about as official as it gets.
