    It's all hell.

Man City are too good. Like a kid playing career mode on semi-pro difficulty on fifa.

Yeah he did. I don't remember the full conversation but that was the basis. They talked about losing all those defenders around this time.

Kinda crazy that happened and they still won the league on the last day.

Still wild to me that Alvarez is starting and thriving already. Everybody was saying he would take a year or would be more of an end of the season player. I believe there was one City scout in country that really pushed the club to sign him, already such a steal of a deal.

And he already signed an extension. Sam has been talking about how Pep will work to get Alvarez, KDB and Haaland on the field at the same time (likely next season).

So dumb that the United board ignored Rangnick pushing for Alvarez. Even worse that now we get to watch him boss it for City for the next 10 years

None of them have a perfect international managerial record!

    Was Felix holding Atleti back?

Saw an argument that this is a deliberate tactic to take the pressure off the players and if that's the case I actually have to hand it to Big Sam on this one very specific occasion

Absolutely. Jose is the master of this. As are Pep and Mikel. They use the media to make themselves look a bit weird, thereby taking all the focus away from any issues.

Bizarre transfer rumour of the year: Ruben Neves to Barca for Ansu Fati + cash.

That's the sort of shit I used to pull on Soccer Manager lol.

Offloading Ansu has been bubbling under the surface for the entire season so it may not be so bizarre.

Surely he can do better than a struggling Wolves side, though? They seem to be a club that are going nowhere fast.

Ever since the injury, he’s not been very good. Which, he’s young and got rushed way ahead of schedule and I think that’s a huge part of it. It makes me sad. He was an absolute delight at first. But he’s definitely not up to anywhere close to the potential he first showed. Wolves might be the right level.

That being said, Neves doesn’t feel like a good option for Barca, either.

The Mendes aspect can't be overlooked either. He's the agent for both players and Barca don't have a Sporting Director at the minute. Could be one of his favours for either club that will be cashed in at a later date.

Just seen that Bordalas is back. A man who makes Simeone look like Guardiola. He’s gonna keep Getafe up, I’m fairly certain of it.

Big Sam and Bordalas back in the PL and La Liga. Football terrorism is back, baby!

    hmmm

I used to really dislike Sam Allardyce but there came a point when I started to enjoy the way he embraced his persona.

anyone who commits that hard to their character gets my respect, a lot of that old guard like Redknapp and Warnock I can’t help but admire

Same with Pep and his press conference persona, constant sarcasm, messing with journalists, saying the weirdest stuff. Can't help but love it

there’s a lack of charm that this new class just doesn’t have though. Pep, Klopp, Arteta, EtH don’t seem begrudgingly loveable in a way the old heads do/did

Let's not forget Holloway! His musings when Blackpool were in the Premier League were a joy.
