happiness is is my second favourite after new again. i like two songs from tidal wave.

 

I like tidal wave a lot but outside of my favorites I find it less memorable. HI is a 9/10 for me. More consistent, higher highs, higher floor. If you get rid of Like You Do it’s largely perfect.

 

you can’t look back is better than any song off happiness is, but happiness is is still a better record overall imo

 

you get it. you can't look back and death wolf are stellar.

 

Flicker Fade is the best song on Happiness Is though.

 

Honestly think You Can't Look Back is one of the best songs the band has ever written.

 

It really is. Fits Adam’s singing style much more naturally than some of the other songs on the album

Like You Do is a bad song IMO but the entire rest of Happiness Is ranges from decent to great. But yeah You Can't Look Back is probably the best song they've done since....Louder Now? This Is All Now is up there too.

I gave you 24 hours of happiness is vs tidal wave discussion and we still find our way back to new again and foam.

 

People have a bit, and nothing can take that away from them.

 

Who doesn't love a good foam party

More bands should do sequels to their least successful albums. That would be fun.
