you know an artist is good when SRAR isnt in my top 3 for their discography but im still emotional about it aging a decade. its a classic for sure

 

I couldn’t believe at the time just how raucous their return was and just how vital they sounded on MSK

 

I remember vividly the day they came back. Had like a week or so left of high school when SRAR dropped. Great record and the Monumentour was a blast

 

Looks like Joe is back as he performed with the band at Ohio State yesterday. So happy he’s doing better.

OMG really? I was just thinking about him yesterday while I gave the album its 546th Listen.

 

I decided that this album is a mix of every single album they've done. One song will make me think of TTTYG and then I'm slung into the middle of IOH or SRAR.

If this shit doesn't win a Grammy, I'm going to be so pissed.

I kind of figured Joe just wanted to get ahead of it by making the announcement, knowing people would be asking where he was when they were doing promo/the music videos were dropping without him. Really glad to see him there and looking happy.

Still wouldn’t say that this is a sure sign he’s back for everything going forward, since this seems like a relatively low-key one off thing, specifically designed to drop in the fall when he’ll hopefully be back full time. Guess we’ll see if he’s around this weekend!

 

I doubt he does the full tour if the back issue is still there. Best case scenario is probably him playing sporadically as his health allows.
