I just watched the Cronenberg movie last night in preparation. Definitely worth a watch.

 

Just watched the first episode of the second season of From. Already feeling like this season’s going to be a lot better while also capitalizing on what worked in the first. Recommend for Lost fans if you haven’t already checked it out. Just know the first season does have some pretty clunky writing and several of the characters are hard to get behind. The child actor is…not great, but the lore and horror (I love the night creatures) are what kept me coming back. They brought on Jeff Pinkner this season so it remains to be seen how that goes, but first episode of season two is, again, pretty entertaining so far.

 

This Power Rangers movie is so fucking corny. Bunch of old men who are terrible actors pretending to fight. I wonder if this is how my parent felt when I watched this all the time as a kid.

 

I mean, probably not. They didn’t grow up with it, so they had no nostalgia for it. As well, in those early seasons, the actors actually did a lot of fighting and it looked good (for kid show standards).

The only kid's shows in the 90's I liked that my dad didn't think were corny were Rocko's Modern Life and Adventures of Pete & Pete.

 

A lot of stuff my son watches is dumb and corny with the exception of bluey and maybe one or two others.

TikTok is truly a curse because I keep seeing clips from breaking bad and now I’m like huh maybe it’s time for a rewatch of it.

 

Watched Little Miss Sunshine a couple of nights ago and Dean Norris is in it for 5 minutes and it made me want to rewatch BB

It’s amazing how Chris Evans and Ana De Armas had such good chemistry in “Knives Out” and have absolutely none in “Ghosted.”

A lot of what his set was , was what I saw when he was in Boston last time. It was good. It was dark. IT hit close to home a bit too much.

But I sat through it, all the way. He had many more hits than misses.

 

Going back and watching Rocko as an adult is an eye opening experience. There was so much in that show that my child brain did not understand. Just starting at the neighbor lady trying to seduce him.
