I haven't been able to fuck with any Joyce Manor materiel, although Constant Headache is my jam.

This is stupid good. It's like a punk band wrote a Beatles record. That's a bad analogy. I don't care this is super good.

This is linsanity. I'll echo the same remarks about Make and Dumb, instantly soothed the ears.

damn being stuck at work all weekend and not being able to enjoy this discussion with everyoone.

this was my most anticipated of the year. NHA is a once in a decade record for mee so idk where this will ultimately fall in relation to it but damn have i not been playing it every break i've got.

the chorus on make me dumb is huge. no wonder it made it in a video game

And Nate's right, you do have to squint your ears hard enough to hear him, at least the first time. But once you pick it up, you can't help but hear him.

This would have made for a great summer album. Its practically built for night drives in July with the windows down.

The only thing I'm not sure of is Do You Really Not Want To Get Better, specifically where it lands in the tracklisting. I think it's a beautiful song, but I'm curious if it would worked better towards the end of the record. The placement it holds right now is a little jarring to me, wedged between Angel In The Snow and Last You Heard Of Me. It's not a big deal, either way, and it's one of those things I'll probably think about less and less as I grow accustomed to the pacing of the album.

Every time I get to Over Before It Began in the track list, I have to listen to it more than once.

    What a beautiful/heartbreaking song.

  25. weird, i totally feel like this is a winter album because of "angel in the snow" and "do you really want to not get better" haha

which i think is placed perfectly btw
