new set up. Bought the record player yesterday and it sounds great with the Sonos. Don’t have the space for a full set up, so needed to work with what I had and this ended up being a great option

 

I was so excited when I finally got mine set up to my sonos system, the speakers I previously had were so bulky and it’s so nice listening to whatever I’m playing through out the house

I love my Sonos setup but I admit the app itself can be frustrating at times.

 

my only issue is if im switching from the audio in for the turntable back to TV. some times I have to close and reopen the app a handful of times for the TV portion to reappear.

 

Has anybody seen any webstores putting up The 1975 RSD today? I've been watching Banquet's site, but they just tagged the LP going up tonight as available only to customers in the UK.

 

We found a pair of West Elm modular industrial shelving on FB Marketplace, they retail for about $3K after tax/shipping. An insane price. They were being sold for $400 total (!!!). Just missed out on them. 3 days later another pair came up for $800 total, also a steal. Just missed them again. I’m going to go insane.

i started off collecting records in 2011 and i had a crate too! i used to bring it over to my buddies house when we would have 'vinyl night', now im here haha i've definitely slowed down over the years but i think i have around 400 now

 

I’ve been collecting off and on since 2007. In earnest since 2015. Have a father in law good at carpentry. Build custom shelves in my basement that I designed. I am one lucky bastard

 

I think most stores are just releasing what’s left of their RSD stock. I would be very surprised if any have The 1975 left. I think that’s only gonna be found on the secondary market.

 

The big ones I saw at grimeys in Nashville is there was a lot of Husker Du and The Dismemberment Plan leftover

 

Check Target. Their Loring 5 shelf bookshelf is similar, just sans the drawer at the bottom.

every time I flip a record, I have to reopen the app and manually connect to play from all the speakers I want it to. for whatever reason it always defaults back to only playing out of the home speaker. not that annoying but it's a weird quirk.

 

Anybody know if Banquet’s “only available to customers in the UK” policy means that you just need a UK shipping address? Or both a UK shipping and billing address?

Like could I purchase from the states, have shipped to a UK address, and then forwarded to the states? And if so, anybody in the UK willing to let me ship to their address and then forward to me? I will incur all shipping costs, of course. And a little extra for your time.
