Linden had so much charisma and perfect Cage-style apathy towards taking things seriously in the story. Certainly one of the best performances in the movie, though there aren’t many competing. I’ve also always loved that everyone else in the film is dead serious the entire time outside of him. The movie is good by perfect casting alone, in pretty much every role.

When I rewatched this last, the casting felt so weak by comparison. Don’t like much of any dialogue by Cole, Sonya, Liu, Raiden, or the unnecessary girlfriend + kid in distress.
