Didn't think the Babymetal show would sell out instantly :/

 

Last time they were in Los Angeles the sold out The Kia Forum and now they are playing a way smaller venue with Dethklok, they messed up by not having it at The Kia Forum again or another arena.

Sleep Token and Bad Omens are blowing up like crazy. Both pretty much sold out tours within the first few days of being on sale and probably could fill 3-4K rooms easily. Not a fan of either band, but fun to see bands gain that much steam after being at it for quite a while.

 

I don't get Sleep Token at all but glad they're selling out these shows

 

I agree I don’t like Bad Omens, but there are a bunch of heavier bands really drawing well from all over the spectrum and it’s much needed for heavy music as a whole. The two you mention. Lorna Shore, Thy Art Is Murder have really gotten bigger post pandemic, Spiritbox, Shadow of Intent, Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, We Came is Romans 100% sold out on their last tour.

 

Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Spiritbox, & Lorna Shore all broke through during the pandemic, leveraged that into great tour opportunities post-lockdown, then rode TikTok/Twitter hype into sold out headliners.

They're all incredible bands, but it's super funny they had the exact same career projectory.

I feel The Wonder Years will play TGG in here as they are playing 2 sets, just not being announced yet as they are waiting for the full tour

Talked to the singer from Frozen Soul last night. Says they have a headliner in October

 

How was that tour, btw? I'm going on Thursday.

 

my date got incorporated into the Decibel Metalfest but Undeath, Frozen Soul, and Black Dahlia were all incredible. Fuming Mouth played today instead of with the tour package. Although not for me they were tight as hell. But Ryan is really getting into the role of frontman for Black Dahlia Murder and the songs sound just as good.

 

Sick! I'm mostly going to that tour for Terror and Fuming Mouth, but I'm planning on watching a little bit of Dahlia, I've actually never gotten to see them!
