Considering the cost of pretty much everything related to touring (and existing) has increased from four years ago, there's pent up demand for live entertainment, bands don't want to struggle, and the cost for visas to enter the country might go up this year...

...nah.

 

Oh good I was worried I wouldn't have anything to stress out about for the next month! Honestly considering taking a half day at work so I can make sure I get in

 

A lot of people in here seem to not understand that seeing live entertainment is a luxury and that everything related to touring is much higher now than in the mid to late 2010s. I hate bots and the strangehold TM/Live Nation has on the market as much as the next person, but it'll be a minute before anything is done to fix that. In the meantime, be selective with the shows you attend, take advantage of debit/credit card presales, and stack that bread so you can better afford shows later on.

 

Haven't heard of any of these guys... Was hoping for something from the days of Finch

 

Damn. I guess I’ll have to go see Wu Tang again. I was hoping for a De La headliner.

 

Yeah, those are... completely unknown bands (to me) that Finch has opening up for them.

 

KALI MASI is a chicago band. they just opened one of the rise against metro shows

 

I'm frim Chicago and I know a lot of local bands and still haven't heard of them. I wonder how they got the slot

 

Kali Masi is decently big. I’m not from Chicago but I’ve seen them a few times. They’ve been on the riot fest lineup and have done some regional headlining tours.

 

they headlined the pop punk pizza party a few years ago too. they're a solid choice imho.

 

Didn’t Kali Masi open for Foo Fighters on a tour or a show or something a while back too?
