Depends. If I wake to my alarm, yes. If I happen to wake up early I’ll watch it on my tv.

I had fun with it! I've lower my expectations a bit this season (especially after last weeks ep). I'm fine with Gideon's role atm since they made it obvious thrawn is the next big threat. I'll be happy when they wrap up Gideon's story and move on though. The scene with the imperial remnants at the beginning was interesting to me too.

I kinda agree about the battle w/ the imperial mandos but a lot of these big gunfights in the star wars shows have never been that great anyways, just an overstimulating clusterfuck of lasers. 1 v 1 fights or hand to hand combat is usually way more fun for me. I do think Paz's scene at the end was a fitting conclusion for his character and a nice tease of whats to come next week.

I guess, to be more specific, I’m tired of Gideon of it’s just going to be the same Gideon with special troops want x finale. Big fight. Seasons ends. I also lowered expectations, after episode 3. It was clear they were pumping the brakes. I do hope the armorer does end up working for Gideon, that will at least be a new layer and will likely bring about the end of her “cult.” But I just have a feeling they’ll play it safe and have it be Ax, who we barely know, be the traitor. Or there won’t be any spy and it’ll just be another showdown with Gideon over Grogu/dark saber. I just realized the beskar found in the prison shuttle was clearly from the commandos we saw today. So, maybe there isn’t a traitor after all and Gideon got lucky with them returning to Mandalore then.

speaking of the dark saber, since Gideon didn’t actually beat Bo and she didn’t defeat Sabine, isn’t Sabine the true owner? She won it in battle, Bo (initially) and Gideon did not. That would be Harry Potter wand logic. Which is basically what they used last week. If it must be won in battle, Sabine never lost ownership. I’m sure they are just going to let that slide and not get this convoluted. But I know the truth haha

I felt like the fight on Nevarro was solid. But yea, there hasn’t been a ton of group fights like this in live action to compare in this era.

Paz’s conclusion feels pointless though. Five seconds after he closes the door, he finishes off the commandos. Dude could have just escaped before the pretorian guards showed up. Or during the last few commandos. It just wasn’t staged enough for me to feel he had no choice. You could argue he didn’t know how many more commandos there were, sure. But, for me, it needs to be more clear that there was no other choice for me to really buy into a death like that. I guess now that he came around on Din and Bo, there wasn’t much else they though he could do?

I'm just imagining your morning routine is you getting ready George Jetson style on a conveyer belt while you're watching a show on your tablet.

I'm always disappointed when shows dip into unnecessary cliches like this, as if there wasn't a more logical way to write the scene. He just blasted away 30 of them and then says "Quick! Go without me! There's too many of them!" and then only four more show up. Sort of a lazy way to create the dramatic ending.

I just remembered he has a kid. Now he’s fatherless. For what? What did that achieve?

Sticking by my best season yet opinion but I'm lost in the sauce when it comes to the EU characters. Brendol Hux! Palleaon!

Now they'll have to explain it to him. "You know, he could have come with us. We were already safe. There were only like four troopers left so....it wasn't a necessary sacrifice or anything to trap himself."

Next week is the finale. And I honestly disagree on Grogu. He desperately needs to develop, and there is no reason for him to have not stayed with Luke. He has had literally no point this season.

Also, how the fuck did Moff construct that base down in the depths of Mandalore so quickly? In like what, a few days? Weeks?

Grogu has been very cute this season which I enjoy, especially with the IG-12 bit in ep 7 but I totally agree they need to do something with him soon. He hasn't had a reason for being there this whole season outside of helping rescue Din and getting more backstory from Order 66 which really doesnt connect with anything else in the current plot line. He hasn't developed at all since leaving Luke, where he should've stayed imo.

Can y'all not count? Rewatch the scene, Paz took out like 20 darktroopers or more, not 4. People just making up things to be mad about. The blast shield couldn't be closed from the inside so suddenly you're retreating with 20 darktoopers on your rear if Paz doesn't make his sacrifice. A Mandalorian's back has the least armor, it would have been a slaughter.
