Per Justwatch it's currently only on Starz. Weird because IIRC it was on Disney+ when it launched.

 

Haven’t gotten to it yet, but I’ve only seen praise on social media

 

This show has really lived up to this comment in a wonderful way lol

 

First episode of Beef ruled. I'm in.

 

Kinda blown away by Ali Wong’s performance in Beef. Loved Always Be My Maybe (verrrrry iffy on her standup), but that’s a pretty straight ahead rom-com. The couples therapy scene in particular, where you see her struggle with what she obviously sees as bullshit. Something almost eerie about the eye contact.

 

Beef is pretty good so far, I'm 5 or 6 episodes in. I don't think it's as amazing as everyone else is making it out to be but hey, different strokes. The episodes feel too long. Definitely some solid laughs, though

Is that Steven Yeun's real singing voice? He sounds really good if so

 

Just watched Michael Mann’s “Heat” - pure cinema

 

Every Pacino line in that film is so quotable.

 

Finished Night Agent. What an absurd show. Fun enough. Easy to binge after hours of yardwork.

 

Any idea how the sequel book is?

Rye Lane on Hulu was very sweet. Breezy and imaginative, perfect little rom com for a lazy afternoon on the couch while it does nothing but pour outside

 

HBO already costs $16 lol

 

$16 will be the version with ads lol this is dumb.

 

I'd gladly pay that much for a single month just to see Batgirl--oh wait

I’ll be cancelling if it’s anything more than $16. I could give two shits about discovery shows and I’ll just sign up once I have a ton of stuff I want to binge for a month or two.

 

The fact that they think they can charge more after taking down the content we actually watch shows how fucking dumb they are

 

People will pay, and they will be successful, unfortunately.

 

I need to finally just throw in the towel and start sharing services. The inconvenience of having to log in more often due to screen capacities is really the only thing that’s kept me from doing it
