A lot of stuff in the latest fightful select, but in summary morale was very low during the show last night as Vince basically took over. They’ve been reassured for months that this wouldn’t happen and it’s happening. Seems like a lot of the changes were happening on the fly during the show, but they started a few hours earlier. SRS says one top talent will likely ask for their release is this is actually what’s happening. There were apparently higher ups that had no idea this was happening

How were WWE's ratings during the "vinceless" era? Like I know smarks liked it better, but did that translate to better TV ratings?

 

Yes. Nearly every viable metric is up across the board since Vince left creative. Ratings, merch sales, ticket sales. It's all been rebounding.

That's why I'm a little surprised, only in that billion dollar companies are usually hell bent on doing absolutely whatever they want in the name of the bottom dollar.

We know they couldn't possibly give a shit about Vince's deplorable conduct and allegations, but what I figured they would care about is the fact that WWE, under the direction of Triple H, has significant upticks in nearly every quantifiable metric, thus making the company more profitable and more attractive.

It's actually counterproductive to stick with the old man in this scenario. Vince hasn't demonstrated any ability to increase business is years, while Paul Levesque did it in less than one. In that world, money talks over loyalty, and usually even the good 'ol boys club.

Vince must've created the ultimate spin job while he was away, or Endeavor doesn't give a single shit about actually doing what's good for the profits of their new company.

 

They increased a bit I think year over year but that could have to do more with Sami more than anything

should see some NXT call ups with the draft. There’s a lot of talent coming up but it’ll be stretched out over the next several months to my knowledge.

 

Raw’s ratings also went up and ticket sales for TV have been incredibly strong.
