meanwhile, kids in TN are literally begging law makers to protect them, and just being completely ignored. Women in some states are dying because they aren't allowed to have live saving abortions. Drag Queens are being blamed for everything and the Trans community is being outcasted.

wrong and i have critical support for all state's facing western/aggression whether it be russia, iran, iraq, afghanistan, libya, syria, china, cuba, venezuela, north korea, regardless of my political alignment with those states. its a principled stance and quite consistent

you are right, i am neither to both and anti-American. but moreover i'm anti-imperialist. so when a country faces imperialism, i'm against it.

of course you conflate imperialism with any foreign policy venture, invasion, intervention, border dispute, etc. you see imperialism quantitatively, in the amount of foreign policy or the extent of size and "bigness," thus your comparison of Russia foreign policy as a smaller version of US foreign policy.

the difference between Russia's foreign policy which is not imperialist and the US' imperialism is qualitative, the qualities of foreign policy not in the quantity of number of invasions, interventions, border disputes (don't exist for the US because they have been settled in the 19th century), but in its purpose of raking in the super profits for its corporations and as it stands maintaining its place as the head of the capitalist world order. currently, Russia is on the opposing side of this aggression.

this is now like the 5th time during this war where i've had to explain imperialism and i said i wasn't going to do it again.

 

The schtick that was really killing me in recent weeks was all of the talk on Fox News of how "if they can come for trump like this, they can come for any of you" as if the average Fox News viewer flies around in a private 747 with their name emblazoned on the side of it in gold and makes six-figure hush-money payments to famous adult film stars. Eric Trump even got carried away during an interview and said "which every company in the world does, every person in the world does" referring to non-disclosure agreements, as if NDAs are a routine part of every American person's life.

 

Eric Trump is a fucking moron. Would love for him to live my life for a week. He would lose his damn mind.

Russia opposes the United States, true, but its foreign policy is absolutely imperialist. You just proclaiming it is not does not change that. I could proclaim that the United States is not imperialist all day long if I wanted to, or that NATO is a defensive alliance, or any other thing I felt like saying - it doesn't make it so.
