I get that its Shibata and all, but, definitely a little weird that the old guy in BCC won, but the young guy they seemed to be building in that group took the L (and routinely takes losses). Same with Jericho/Garcia, really.

 

Pretty baffling they both lost.

 

Abysmal PPV

 

Lol, it was far from abysmal. Most of the matches were good to great. The booking was just pretty questionable in spots.

 

The wrestling is always but none of the booking makes me want to tune into ROH

if anything it just once again shows me that TK doesn’t think Eddie is a star and he will always lose and there isn’t a reason to invest in him

 

Yeah, I definitely don’t get it. Both Joe and Claudio don’t need the belts and two great feel good stories were just lost that would have built some momentum for the brand.

 

The crowd didn’t help

 

Agreed though they did seem invested in the main event and ladder match. Overall though a way shittier crowd than last years event and hurt the event.

It’s true, this thread is plagued by geeks expecting cookie cutter, by the book booking and when it doesn’t happen they start cryin.

 

You don’t have to think about pro wrestling like a sport. You don’t have to think “they’re gonna do this and then it will lead to this and then finally we’ll get this result.”

Especially since Eddie loses every important match he’s in so why even get invested in him
