The level of QC post pandemic in the vinyl world is impeccable!

 

They should've just owned it as an artistic choice.

 

I find it funny only because all the Alchemy Index box sets have horrible typos in the lyrics section and apparently no one gave a shit about that lol

 

Props to them for acknowledging it, unlike Vagrant's silence on the choice to cut tracks from the recent press of Alkaline Trio's Remains. Yes, apples and oranges, but the principle is similar.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that the SSTB re-press never got announced anywhere else and just kinda showed up on Amazon?

 

I'm guessing it went up too soon there. The band hasn't even said anything yet.

I don’t track my preorders very closely, but it’s rare that I completely forget that something I’ve ordered was even supposed to exist. Getting that shipping notification was such a surprise

The Satellite Years, an album ahead of its time.

One of my all time favorite albums and one of my white whales until the 2017 repress.

 

Question: What do you all use to clean your records? I know big vinyl heads will shell out for the washer. But I feel like I’m not that deep of a vinyl listener.

 

I just have a brush I use at this point.

 

The last one was in 2014, but it was readily available at retail as recently as 2019. I'd expect a 20th anniversary repress later this year.
