Thread title should read: "The new Indian Jones, directed by Spielberg??? I think?? Coming out sometime in the future??"

    Rewatched 1-3 last month. I’d go 1 > 3 > 2 with 2 actually being worse than I remember.

I'd rank the same. Raiders might be my favorite movie of all time

I always thought I enjoyed last crusade more but rewatching and raiders is nearly perfect.

I think Raiders is my favorite movie ever. Perfect film that never gets old.

Raiders is a Mount Rushmore movie.

Crusade is my favorite because I love stories of fathers and sons and Connery should have been nominated for an Oscar for the comedy bits alone. Maybe the most belly laughs of a pure action movie I’ve ever seen, while still delivering the goods.

Temple is too bleak but still a fun watch.

    We don’t talk about 4.

I like 4 more than most people. Think it got a bit of a bad rap. The overuse of CGI was a bad call for sure.

But I haven't seen it in a while, not sure my opinion will stay same when I rewatch haha.

I’ll die on this hill: Last Crusade is the best.

The biggest problem with the fourth film is that people who saw the original trilogy through a childs' eyes saw the fourth film through an adults'.

I’ve gotten warmer on the fourth over the years, but I still think having it be aliens was a bad choice. Also, Indy should have killed more than just one person.

I’ve even softened on the fridge scene.

I used spoiler tags for Josh.

I think 2 is way worse than most people seem to think, and 4 is better than people seem to think. Hovering the 3 star zone

Last Crusade is almost as good as Raiders but it’s so visually late 80’s and it looks pretty bad, particularly the special effects

2 isn’t the best, but 4 is worse. I rewatched them all fairly recently.

Oh, honey, no. You’re gonna make me do a rewatch so I can describe in detail Doom is better. This is a tragedy.

yeah lets not overthink this, crystal skull is far and away the worst one. Temple of Doom has fun moments but is an awful movie. Crusade is fantastic. Raiders is just unbeatable.

I mean, the racism in Doom alone knocks it down several pegs.
