I also prefer S1 but S2 is really not far off

 

It just feels like it's taking forever for anything to actually happen? Just finished episode 3

 

I am starting to develop a theory that people are one day going to look at Dark as one of the most influential tv shows of this era. I don't think it is any coincidence that super ambitious original American shows with well thought out worldbuilding like Severance and Yellowjackets came after it.

I watched an interview with the Yellowjackets showrunners and they were asked "what mystery shows Influenced you while writing the show?" First thing they said was Dark.

 

There is a good amount of build-up for both seasons and I feel like they both pay off well. Even still it's not really the kind of show that gives you the sensationalized ending, but instead wants you to read between the lines. I would just take it as it comes and enjoy the ride

 

She had tweeted at one point “I didn’t say no, I said no to what was offered” I’m not sure what she thought the takeaway from that tweet would be

That kinda sounds like Neve Campbell for Scream 6, right? You want legacy characters in your movies, you gotta pay the actors their worth

 

I hope it takes place in the mid 90's when the baseball card market was at peak bubble and there were baseball card stores in every strip mall.

 

I agree! Just confused what she wanted that first tweet to get across. It ultimately doesn't matter. I just get annoyed when people say something that very clearly is going to allude at something and then get mad when that's the takeaway

 

What ongoing shows are you all keeping up with? Im with Yellowjackets, Picard, The Mandalorian, and Vinland Saga. I think I’ve said it before, but having a show to watch every week is better than binging. It’s good to have something to look forward to.

 

Seeing people post as they watch Dark for the first time is one of my favorite things. GOATed show.

 

Succession, yellowjackets, Abbott elementary, grand crew, mando and Perry Mason.

 

I’m getting bored of shows doing the faux documentary crew thing. No more cuts to confessionals!

 

Anyone watch the night agent on Netflix? Looks like a dumb fun political thriller.

 

The trailer did indeed look like dumb fun, but my wife said it looks too over dramatic. I might be watching without her lol.

 

I love stupid shows like that though haha. I might check it out tonight.

 

Right now I have a lot on my plate: Yellowjackets, Succession, Ted Lasso, Party Down, Star Trek: Picard, Mandalorian, School Spirits, and Rabbit Hole.

I still need to get caught up on Shrinking, Poker Face, and Daisy Jones & The Six.

I just started watching some German murder mystery on Netflix called Close to Home: Murder in the Coalfield. Only 6 eps, so I figured I'd knock it out pretty quick.

 

Oh yeah I forgot about Ted Lasso

 

Oh and I guess I did start rabbit hole, Jesus.

 

Is Daisy Jones good? My wife’s been wanting to start that one
