That's my hope. I will do everything possible to make it there, including kissing Matty.

Ticket secured. Stoked to see who’s playing after shows. Would love a small Spacey Jane set somewhere. Will be my first Lolla, have been wanting to go since I was a teenager. At 30, finally going.

The crowds in videos/ pictures look massive. Is it overwhelmingly packed? I’ve always been fine at medium festivals, but this will be the biggest one I’ve attended.

Crowds are big, but it’s probably the best run festival I’ve been too. Plus the view of the city is amazing.

We'll have to meet up at some point! It's definitely packed, but those pictures generally look worse than it really is. Especially further back there's usually plenty of room where you can have your own space.

I went for the first time last year and I was honestly pretty impressed with how manageable it was. The crowds are big but there's so much space that you can hang pretty comfortably for most sets. The more popular ones will fill in, plus you might want to be aware of when people will be leaving one stage to get to another (I got caught swimming upstream against an exiting Perry's crowd) but for the most part, I didn't find it to be too bad.

I’ll back all of that up. Is it my favorite festival in Chicago? No. Is it the best run? Absolutely.

I’ve never had a bad time going.

I was there one year and had to evacuate due to weather, and even that was run fairly smoothly. Definitely the best run festival I've been to.

Last year next to The Grove there was a Discord lounge with open bar, free snacks and side stage view to that stage. To get in they were doing contest on Discord but also you could arrive when doors open and go to the lounge entrance and they had extra wristbands. I get in 3 out of 4 days and it was the best festival experience I ever had.

If they do it again this year, dont miss out!

Discord isn’t a sponsor this year so if they do something like that again this year it will have to be whoever is sponsoring that stage

T-Mobile is also usually great for this. Was better when you had to be a T-Mobile customer - now you can get in with some social media bullshit - but it's still a great spot to watch the south stages.

I caught Gambino and Tyler from there in their respective years. Can't beat it.

Not only that I don't recognize like 90% of the lineup, I don't even know some of the headliners. Not sure if I'm so out of touch or they are just not very well known.

I had never heard of the k-pop headliner before the lineup dropped. When they moved this to 4 days it kinda diluted the lineup and the poster usually drops off big time after line 6-7.

Tomorrow X Together is a top boy group, playing a sold-out arena tour this spring. At the time of their debut, they were the only other group on the label that BTS is also on, and that was around the same time BTS was really started to make an impact globally. TXT is fantastic in their own right, and honestly, musically fits the kind of vibe really well. They have some really great concepts, and I thought did a fantastic job holding their own on Perry's last year when they were shoehorned into a gap in the schedule over there.

As a resident kpop fan here, surprised to see TxT headlining on Saturday night, but good for them!
