I had to. I slept on the last repress and sold a few lps that made it justifiable. I snagged the signed splatter.

But I agree the album was one of the best of 2021!

Todays haul. Shake It restocked their Blink section so I figured it was a good time to complete my collection

    Die rad.

Not sure if this is the right sub for this, but could use some help as my head is spinning.

Currently at the end of my Grado Prestige Gold 2 Cart life span. My set up is a Debut Carbon (2010), Cambridge 551p Phono, cambrisge cxa80 amp, montior audio rx8 speakets.
I honestly found the grado to be a tad boring and may have even enjoyed my 2M Red more a decade ago before upgrading. My local shop is trying to steer me towards the Sumiko Blue Point No. 3 for a real upgrade and moving coil. I'm just afraid it may be lackluster or warm like the grado. Thinking about going back to Ortofon as it seemed to be more lively.

Snagged a copy of Yellowcard’s One For The Kids SRC pressing, so now all I need to complete the Yellowcard discography is Paper Walls and Underdog EP

How much for Avalon, a little birdie told me it’s getting re-pressed this year…

Ugh, my Artist Revisited pressing sounds pretty terrible. Toothless and super quiet with tons of pops and cracks.

My reference scene album is SRC’s pressing of Futures. Artist sounds laughably thin in comparison.

Didn't realize the 20th Anniversary Beneath Medicine Tree was 45rpm. Sounds fantastic.

Death Touches Us, From the Moment we Begin to Love Supporter

My first concert was when I was 15. I saw the Foo Fighters in July 1997 touring the Colour and the Shape in a now defunct 2000 capacity venue in Toronto. My first concert; my first pit. It was an epiphany, I felt like I needed live shows in my life.

They came back again in October of that year and I saw them again. Flash forward present day and I've been to hundreds of concerts since then. But the Foos will forever hold a special place in my heart.

The Color and the Shape is one of my all time favorite albums. But this album hitting me in Grade 12 was big. Graduating in 2000 and seeing them a third time (and the last time I've seen them) at a music festival north of Toronto. The future was and felt uncertain for me but I remember being in that crowd of thousands in the summer sun...

    Nothing else mattered.

It's been a year since Taylor left us, so go spin some Foos or stream em.

(Aurora is my all time favorite Foo Fighters song.)

You know it! It was The Warehouse back then. So many memories and concerts at that venue. Meeting so many bands as well!

The Reverb/Kathedral, Zen Lounge above the Shoppers at Queen/Bathurst, Club 360, and the iconic Club Rockit. Man those were the days.

I only made it to Kool Haus, Guvernment/Warehouse, Reverb, and Kathedral of those, but I feel you! Miss all of them so much in their own way haha

Maybe we've been to the same shows lol. I try to go when I can but being 40 and a family man it's such an ordeal. When me and my wife lived downtown it was great! Home in 10 minutes!

If something is on Backorder on Merchbar, is it safe to assume it’ll never ship?
I just saw a listing for The Mark Tom and Travis show and I’m not sure if I believe their “ships in 8 weeks” claim.

Can’t remember to give you a timeline but I ordered an Alvvays record from them that was backordered and received it eventually. It wasn’t a crazy amount of time so if you don’t mind waiting…
