I have not been into new FOB for a while (however Uma Thurman slaps hard when I am at the gym) but I am really enjoying this new album a lot!

Stoked for new FOB and I will definitely check out Danny Brown. Also, while I’ve never heard of Whore of Bethlehem, they sound like a wholesome group and I bet Ritual of Homocide is some nice, easy listening.

Kinda funny that nobody's mentioned Owl City, but he admittedly fell off after The Midsummer Station.

They fixed your brain when you were young.

Fall Out Boy, August Burns Red, Day, Lana del Rey, and Project 86 for me. First of 2 back to back stacked weeks.

    The rivalry is back on

the opening stretch of Celebrants into Strangers is return to peak Nickel Creek IMO and I’m a sucker for bands that mix complex bluegrass (or other very technical genres) and pop as seamlessly as they do

I discovered Nickel Creek in 2004 when I was gifted Bonaroo 2003 on DVD as a stocking stuffer. Their performance all around one microphone is so awesome. I'm not sure if you've seen it but I instantly fell in love. Thile improvises during his solo on "I should've known better" and it's so amazingly heavy and badass.

That DVD changed my fucking life lol it introduced me to the Roots, Nickel Creek and Robert Randolph.
