Or just an opinion? The Black Album has never done much for me. It’s not bad, not by a long shot. I just don’t get as much out of it as most do. I get that from most post Blueprint Jay albums tbh.

I just want to say I had an Apple Music trial and I feel like it ruined Spotify for me because the quality of the music was so different. I can actually tell the difference now and it sucks especially with some of the older releases.

I have a 6 hour drive so these are the releases I’m checking out:

De La Soul - Three Feet High and Rising

my double post but so far I’ve listened to both De La Soul releases and for me it felt like 3 feet high and rising was the more experimental between that and de la soul is dead and here are my favorites from each release

De La Soul is Dead: Talkin Bout Hey Love, A Roller Skating Jam Named Saturdays, Pass The Plugs and Keepin The Faith.

Spinning Alfredo today and man, this project is still so good. Between the features + The Alchemist's production + only being 10 tracks, it makes for such an easy listen.

 

Freddie's best imho. Top 10 hip-hop album for me.

10 years of Acid Rap tour incoming

 

Getting into Three 6 Mafia for the first time and I love Gangsta Boo’s flow/delivery. Looked up what she’s been up to lately and was very sad to see she passed away at the beginning of the year….

 

Yeah and then she wasn’t part of the memorials at the Grammys, proving that they still don’t truly give a shit about Hip Hop

 

Acid Rap dropped a week before I graduated high school. Super important mixtape that stayed in rotation that entire summer before college. Would be all over a 10-Year tour.

 

10 Day is better
