Ghost on the Dancefloor and Even If She Falls would like to have a word...

  2. those two songs, hearts all gone, and wishing well are all great, but like... i wouldn't put them even in my top 50 blink songs.

I'm almost positive it was Mark's "himynameismark" podcast interview with Feldman that he talks about Left Alone. Not 100% though. I know it was Mark and John talking about it. That one and the Skiba interview are both great listens.

We have officially hit "tin foil hat" levels of speculation with this merch order screenshot. I honestly was fine without any news or releases but I have now hit my threshold. Ready for the train to keep moving. @Jason Tate do you have any juicy insider info???

Wishing Well has REALLY grown on me over the last 10 years. When the album first came out I hated it, but now I'm convinced it should've actually been the lead single lol
For an album so dark and moody it really is a breath of fresh air and really poppy!

albums not finished but they’re starting shipments to EU/UK in April so by the time the vinyls arrive overseas in May/June, the album will be complete. It’s that simple.

Yeah if it was Mark’s podcast then they talked about it and it was Los Angeles not Left Alone.

LA is one of my least favorite Skiba era Blink songs that isn’t a California Deluxe track.

I really thought we were getting something this week. If it's not next week, I don't know what to believe anymore.

-Sober deserved to be a cross-radio hit on pop and rock stations (although I think I've said this before and there was a discussion about how it couldn't be a thing)
-Darkside should have been the lead single for Nine

Lastly, regarding vinyl delays, I'm assuming blink is big enough to jump a number of preorder timelines ahead of other artists, so I'm not sure that delay timing affects them tooooo much.

I’m going to go ahead and predict April 28th for the next single along with album announcement.

Nine is an amazing record and I really wished Skiba had stayed in the band and they became a four piece. That’s my peace

The Neighborhoods slander in this thread is outrageous. It gets a little messy towards the end, sure, but I'll take any song on it over California and NINE any day.

Sometimes people like Neighborhoods & DED more. Sometimes people like the Skiba albums more. It’s fucking wild people can have differing opinions!

Here’s a response written by chatGpt:

It is a common belief that some opinions are bad or wrong, and should be dismissed or discredited. However, this viewpoint oversimplifies the nature of opinions and fails to take into account the complexities of human thought and expression.

Firstly, it is important to recognize that opinions are subjective and context-dependent. What may be considered a "bad" opinion in one situation or cultural context may be perfectly valid or even desirable in another. Furthermore, the criteria for determining what constitutes a "good" or "bad" opinion are themselves subjective and vary widely among individuals and communities.

Secondly, even opinions that are widely considered to be wrong or harmful can still serve a valuable purpose. By engaging with and challenging these opinions, we are able to refine and strengthen our own beliefs and ideas. Additionally, allowing a diversity of opinions, even those we may disagree with, can foster greater tolerance, empathy, and understanding among individuals and communities.

Thirdly, the dismissal of certain opinions can be dangerous in its implications for free speech and democratic ideals. While it is important to challenge harmful and discriminatory opinions, any attempt to silence or suppress certain viewpoints can lead to the suppression of legitimate dissent and a narrowing of public discourse.

In conclusion, the idea that some opinions are inherently "bad" is a simplistic and potentially harmful oversimplification of the complex nature of human thought and expression. While it is important to challenge harmful and discriminatory opinions, we should also recognize the value and diversity of opinions, and the importance of free and open discourse in promoting understanding and progress.

Even myself, whom is widely regarded on this website as having very good opinions, believes Neighborhoods to be much better than the two following albums. Bet that changes your perspective, huh?
