Ive seen Cake twice live and they were atrocious both times. Singer was a drunken, rambling mess and they talked almost as much as they played.

Ticketmaster sending this email & namedropping Robert Smith is so odd. This happened fast though

That is really odd. A super 'CYA - THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE NEW NORMAL' statement.

I love how it'll make other artists look like bad guys and/or cowards when they remain quiet. The precedence is now set that if an artist speaks up on your behalf, you may get somewhere.

However - at the end of the day - if shows are full, these artists don't give a fuck.. Look at Taylor - 140,000 tickets for the first 2 nights and just a social media frenzy about it all. She couldn't care less about the fiasco from months ago.

It’s really gross that Drake is using CashApp credit card as a way for fans to get presale tickets. It’s pretty easy to get that card (CRAZY interest) and the tickets he’s selling for that promotion begin at $250 each…

Cool, make it easy for your young fans to get taken advantage by predatory credit card companies so they can see your lame ass show.

It's the Gen Z version of the Columbia Record Club "12 CDs for a penny" thing but much more predatory.

That's a bummer to hear. I've always wanted to see them but never have. Had tickets to see them in CLE 12 years ago but something came up last minute and I couldn't go.

Is mudvayne Amphitheater headliner material? Was hoping for larger clubs/small amps but whatever I guess

I’d do unforgivable things to have this be a tour and come near me

That tour last summer they did with Rob Zombie as a co headliner, did very well and at my date a ton of people left after Mudvayne. The turn out on these probably won’t be as strong but they would sell out any large club/small amp in the country so I mean I’m sure these will be 2/3-3/4 full at most dates. The Coal Chamber reunion seems to be something that people really want to see too. Plus Gwar.

Seeing GWAR on a summer shed tour is like the worst way to see them

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

Have GWAR done opening slots like this before? Aside from festivals. It just seems a bit odd to me GWAR would do a tour like this

That Offspring tour is a little expensive (though what major tour isn't, now, I guess) but in a rare confluence of mutual interest, I've got a group of friends who really want to go which makes me much more okay with shelling out a little extra. Gonna be a real fun nostalgia trip for us.
