Does anyone use Chrome for iOS? Anyway to get rid of the animations when you swipe forward or back

 

EDIT: Just realized how far back the recently added tab goes. I think that should give me what I need.

Hope this makes sense/someone has some advice..

I accidentally deleted the entire music folder from my computer a couple of months ago, and I'm finally getting around to copying the backup folder from my external over to my computer. This is a fairly old backup, so I'll be missing a good bit of music, so I was thinking the easiest way to see what all I need to re-acquire is to just open the entire folder to iTunes and make a list of everything with an exclamation point next to it.

My question is, since I haven't touched iTunes since said mass deletion, and all the songs are "still there" for lack of a better term, is it going to re-assign the files to their already existing listings, or will it duplicate every song rendering my aforementioned exclamation point plan useless?

 

A huge reason why I don't use iTunes anymore. I've so many issues with it, I finally gave up on it like five years ago. That was one of the problems I always seemed to have, and somehow, someway, I would always end up with missing music.

The official lighting Dock is garbage. The slightest touch of the screen can make it lose connection, and the audio will start blasting out of the phone speakers.

My 6 is starting to die at 15% batter now grrrrrr

 

mine did that for a while and then one day it stopped. I'm not sure how it fixed itself but there may have been a restore somewhere in that timeline.

 

I almost feel bad for Samsung. Almost.
It sucks for those people that got hurt or got their properties damaged by those burning phone. I heard that the Note 7 is a really nice phone, other than the fact it explodes (and also the fact that it runs on Android )

Finally had my jet black 7+ delivered today. It's a thing of great beauty, though the clear case kinda ruins the look a bit (I'll summon the courage to go naked in a few months). Now to tangle with the dreaded 'restore from iCloud backup'.

 

You can try "recalibrating" the battery since this is most likely just your phone's software not agreeing with the actual battery % remaining rather than it actually having it die with that much battery left. Let it run till the battery dies then leave it without charging for at least 6 hours, charge it to 100% without turning it on (it's best to leave it charging for an hour or two after it says it's full charged too, just to make sure it's really 100% full). When it's fully charged hold both the sleep/wake button and the home button until it boots up.

 

So my plays from My Music on my iPhone will not update the play counts in iTunes even after I sync my device via USB. These files were directly transferred over from the current iTunes to the phone. Looking at the songs through iTunes on my phone it shows that I have played them on my phone, but not in iTunes. I have the latest version of all software and IDK what in the world the problem is. Doing a sync test in diagnosis shows everything is fine.

EDIT: I didn't have the box "Manually manage music on this device" checked for my phone. Once I did that it erased all local files on my phone(which is fine there wasn't much yet). I added back in a few albums, disconnected phone, played 2 tracks, reconnected and synced again, and now it updates. Even Last.fm scrobbled those plays as well. This is great news!

 

AI assistant technology is definitely the future but I couldn't be any less interested in it

 

Does anyone know how to delete music from my iCloud library while leaving the original files on my hard drive? I used to get a pop up box that gave me the option to "keep files" or "move to trash" but now when I do that the files just seem to move automatically to the trash.

 

My 7+ is finally coming on Tuesday.. stoked. I ordered it the week it came out.

 

yeah mine's coming tuesday as well, except it ordered it last week haha

 

After all this time I still can't wrap my head around using Photos. I have an album for comic book covers and a lot of times those are the only photos I want saved. No idea how to mass delete while filtering said album.

EDIT: On another note, I was having allergic reactions with my logitech kb+mouse (thats the only way I can explain it, I was getting rashes on my hands and arms) so decided to buy an apple keyboard. Loving it. Can't get automator to open apps for me though

 

I cannot get my Contacts to sync with iCloud so that I can view and manage everything on a web browser.

any lightning cables out there that are well priced and don't suck?

 

I just use Amazon's, never had an issue with them.

 

I second this comment. And minus the Amazon basic logo on one side most people can't even tell that it's not an apple brand.
