    Things have changed.

Every show is different. Some shows have the majority of the venue with assigned seats with a smaller GA section at the very top. Some have very small reserved sections in the front and then the rest GA. Just depends how they set it up.

It’s just a stage and a large standing room area on grounds of the Mann Center.

    Fight the long defeat.

Can someone reassure me about how Manchester sounds outdoors? I saw them play Raleigh's Red Hat Amphitheater once and wasn't impressed (around the Cope era, so maybe that had something to do with it). Just feels like their energy evaporated a bit compared to when I'd seen them play clubs, before and since. I haven't ever seen JEW though, and I'd love the chance to catch them.

    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

First Red Rocks show. I hear the sound is great, but gets sketchy after like the 20th row?

I was at that show I think. BN and o'brother there too? Thought everyone sounded the worst I have ever heard them that night.

The first time I ever saw Manchester Orchestra was in 2009 and it was outdoors and they blew me away. I wasn't even really a fan of them until I saw them live that night.

Saw them again live outdoors in 2015 (likely the same tour you are referring to) and they were fine. Honestly didn't notice a difference between them playing indoors vs outdoors.

I’m dying laughing. This guy on a MO Facebook group who has a history of being a bit of a sexist jerk just bragged about getting a front row ticket to Red Rocks.

His ticket says Kemba Live. Which is a venue in Ohio. He clicked on the wrong event on the AXS app and purchased it and bragged about it without even realizing.

Red rocks is dope you ninnies! Been there twice - once for a bluegrass show & once for My Morning Jacket. The sound was great, the hike to the venue was special, and GA seats allowed for a lot of movement.

I drank as I normally would but definitely smoked more than usual. Such is CO.

one thing though: stay away from the pizza. Four of my friends got destroyed after eating it. I’ve never seen them fight over use of a toilet before that night in our Airbnb. Funny for me. Terrible for them.
