Seriously! Shocked that the shows are only in a few weeks. But I'd rather wait till they put out a new album and do a proper tour.

The two times I've seen them (once opening for Japanese Breakfast, once opening for Jimmy Eat World) in the past two years, half the set has been new songs which sounded great BUT I want to be familiar with the new material. Kicking myself for not making their Webster Hall show in 2019 when they played all of the album they released that year.

Is this the BIG announcement that the "Only Station That Really Rocks!" radio stations are teasing? If so, gross....

I guess I live under a rock because I've never heard a Falling in Reverse song before and dont know anything about the drama surrounding them. I've just learned from this thread that the frontman is a piece of shit and should be avoided.

Absolutely wild that Avenged Sevenfold can do the Garden, but a shame they're bringing a problematic artist with them. ESPECIALLY if Pussy Riot is also on the bill.

“Pussy Riot touring with Avenged Sevenfold” wasn’t on my 2023 bingo card…

    idk man

Yesterday I was curious when the last time Avenged Sevenfold played NYC was. It was 2007 at Hammerstein Ballroom. I got excited because I was sure they were going to play somewhere like MSG when the new song got released, and I was ready to get the tickets.

At least I'm saving money now. Damn it Ronald McRadke.

Have they not played the city proper since 2007? I assume they mostly stick to LI/NJ/Westchester then.

If only there was an overlap between swifties and the cure fans and they could see that it can actually be done. I have never doubted that artists / promoters / labels make money off of ticket master and that they are happy to have them take the heat while they profit.

It's a side story, but the mars volta just released tickets for $72 for a venue where $45 is normally on the high end and $20-$35 is the norm. I am elated to see the tickets still on sale and hope it's from a collective hold out and a 'wtf are these prices??' and not just a lack of demand.

I do think people should price tickets more dynamically for shows with soft sales. Digging your heels in on a $75 ticket could likely discourage the last amount of people from buying.

yea im in the same boat, all i know is that i always confused them with pierce the veil (as they are both in the class of bands that came up right after i stopped paying attention to that scene, along with a day to remember, parkway drive and bring me the horizon). id always know one of those bands had a piece of shit singer but could never remember which one it was haha.

Falling In Reverse is a terrible butt-rock band and the singer came from Escape The Fate, a terrible diarrhea-core band. The diarrhea-core to butt-rock pipeline is legit.

Is 311 usually on these butt-rock festivals or is this a new thing?

Ticket for Aftershock are 380 + fees. To think this 4 day fest with a stacked lineup is almost as much as Bamboozle

Turnstile being 3rd billed on their day is WILD. Not that there's anyone below them on that day that I think be above them just still such a crazy thing to think about.
