speaking of FM, I had one of my best results of recent memory when my mighty Southampton boys beat Real Madrid 5-3 in a December friendly. Was during the World Cup but they still had Benzema, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Alaba, Militao and Mendy all playing! Big Paul Onuachu showed them levels with 2 goals and a 9.3/10 rating

Oh, and Mexico managed to win the World Cup by beating Argentina 2-1 in the final lol

 

I didn’t watch any of the game, but I think I can confidently say that it was more a case of Leicester being even less of a football team than Chelsea is at the moment.

 

Watching Celta-Rayo and Celta just scored twice in ~20 seconds.

The assist on the first goal is one of the most tenacious runs I’ve seen in a minute.

I don't think there are any restrictions in the Bundesliga preventing reserve or youth team players to play in the first team (except you have to be 16+). But Paul Wanner is officially part of the first team anyway.

 

I think La Liga caps how many B team players can be on the field at one time at… 4? 5? Barcelona almost hit it accidentally during an injury crisis/red card situation right when Xavi started. But no rules on how many on the bench.

 

I know he’s part of the first team, but he’s playing in the regionaliga all the time and is rarely on a first team gameday roster. I just figure they should bring him or arijon or someone else up for some minutes when we played lower table competition if there’s nothing preventing it. Go up 3-1 or 5-2 on fca, let’s get the young guys some minutes.

 

I wish ESPN+ would hook the USL Championship with a Golazo type show. Too many games on at the same time and not exactly the easiest to bounce around games on their platform I feel like.
