I can see Spurs selling Kane, investing the money into defensive reinforcements then using Richarlison through the middle. I think that would really work out for them. Richarlison isn't a bad player, he's shown what he can do for Brazil numerous times.

Ian Wright is a top lad. Shearer should be next.

What a fucking shambles the BBC is. I hope Lineker takes a stand over this and refuses to go back. The hypocrisy over the whole thing is insane.

the BBC sucks ass, Lineker should "double down" on what were completely fair & correct comments

I was just thinking the other day, was so close to posting - but is there a better all round guy in football these days?

Always sticking up for the most vulnerable, genuine about the causes he cares about. Big advocate of women's football. Comes across as very humble.

Wonder who'll be left to stand in. Jermaine Jenas won't miss a chance to be on TV, probably Danny Murphy too

Non-Brits may be unaware of how bad the BBC has gotten, but they recently scrapped a series of comedy shows for being “too left wing”, and our major political show Newsnight had this moment this week:

Our mainstream media is almost entirely right wing (ignoring Channel 4 and The Guardian, basically), and seemingly willing to let them get away with heinous crimes that deprive people of their humanity and dignity, and are costing lives. Fuck em all.

There's also the fact that the BBC chairman, in addition to donating to the Conservative party, helped the then Prime Minister to secure an £800,000 loan. And the former Director of Communications for a different Tory Prime Minister is the BBC Board Member for England, blocked the appointment of a former HuffPo journalist over political concerns and was accused by former BBC employees of being an "active Conservative agent at the heart of the BBC".

But somehow it's Gary Lineker that's the problem.

EDIT: I forgot to add that the Director General is a former Conservative party candidate!

With the MotD thing, plus them not showing the last episode of a David Attenborough show for fear of the reaction from the right wing, it seems the mask has finally fully slipped though.

Not that anything will change, of course.

For a funny perspective, the BBC is often referred to as a balanced, left of center view in the US. At least it used to be. I’ve kinda purposefully quit paying attention for peace of mind over the last year or so.

On top of this, you have other presenters (Alan Sugar) tweeting out opposition to striking workers and for years the host of one of their flagship politics programmes (Andrew Neil) editing a famously right wing rag whilst also regularly tweeting out right wing nonsense.

Seems only to be an issue when the individual opposes Government policy. Total hypocrisy.
