Someone in the comments said it became. Can't confirm if that's true or not.

I like this band more musically than I do lyrically if that makes sense. Jons a fine lyricist but I just love what they do with the 3 guitar dynamic. Their rhythm section is real tight too.

    Def a grower not a show-Er
There is a lot of tiny detail buried behind the haziness here. Headphone album for sure.

For a walk went from least fav to top 3 after 5 listens.

For A Walk is cool. Gotta give it a few more listens, it all kind of blended.

So I really enjoy this so far, but "For A Walk" is a dud for me after a few listens, but I like everything else about the album. Does anyone else hear the similarity between the beginning of "Fame" and Thursday's "A Gun in the First Act"? Maybe I'm just hearing things.

didnt know this til many years after separation was out. its somewhat noticeable on this album in terms of walls of sound, i feel like two of the guitars are always doing like the same thing though. but anyway. yeah. they have three guitars and this is the first album where i can tell by listening theres multiple. separation's mix seriously has no depth it sounds like one guitar.

i am fucking obsessed with this album. "fame" is probably my favorite right now. that and "it is so much to adore." both very catchy tracks. hes writing fantastic vocal melodies.

  19. Yep, Adore is my favorite. Seems to be the unpopular opinion so far but I prefer the back half of this thing.

im coming around to the back half. just took a few listens for it to start to stand apart from the front half. this thing is fucking amazing though, so cohesive.

  21. They had roughly 30 song ideas or something going into this record. This was probably one of the more developed ones, guessing it got cut cause it doesn't really sound like it'd gel with some of this other stuff too well.

Yeah, I went by the youtube comment and for some reason I heard the words fame in the lyrics of the youtube video so I assumed it was that, but he says "flame". And you're right it doesn't sound like it, guess this song didn't make it, which is a shame cause it's pretty dang good.

I feel the same exact way, I think the back half is better

Odd question but maybe someone here can help me out. The way he sings the first line of Adore (the "through your veins..." bit) sounds so familiar to me but I cant place what it reminds me of. Anybody else getting that?

Also, its strange that, even though this album is a new direction for them, so many parts remind me of things from other songs.

Man this is good. I'm all about Midnight Zone.

It's way too early to say this is a better record than TTWTWM, but I applaud them for going in this direction.
