I bought Sing The Sorrow on CD on a field trip, so it sticks out to me for that reason. But I never actually got really into the album, so I don’t feel the need to buy the vinyl. But I’m glad those who want it have a chance to.

The field trip was with my guidance counselor. He had put together a group of students who were like depressed and such to meet weekly at school. He took us to a mediation place to learn to meditate and such. Then we got a couple hours in downtown pittsburgh to wander around. I found a record shop and bought Sing The Sorrow.

a couple years later my friends told me they had heard about the field trip and were super jealous I got to go haha like, sorry, my dad had died and my brother had cancer, so I was in the group. Be happy you weren’t involved. Haha

Sing the sorrow is one of the bigger discog whales to emerge. Really glad to finally check that off the list. Guessing there will be more to go up since we haven’t seen a band store listing yet.

I have 179 on my want list. I have 169 on hand. Maybe 10 from the want list are ordered and am awaiting shipping. So, I’m about halfway there LOL

This is one of the represses I had been waiting a LONG time for. Probably 10 years since I first considered getting the OG press.

You should sign up for their mailing list. They do a good job of sending out the message there first. Given they are in the bay, they probably have a good relationship with Mike Park, so doing the early records is probably easier to pull off, but if they get the chance to do Crimson I’m sure they would.
