Man, you gotta be scraping bare metal if you think someone like Mike Pence is the softer side of the GOP.

 

The top of the ticket is so bat shit that I forgot all the other stuff about Pence over the years.

I think Trump/Pence is the perfect GOP ticket because they both represent just how awful that party is. You got Trump representing the xenophobic and thin skinned elements of the GOP while Pence represents the batshit insane rural/overly-religious elements. It's the true id ticket.

Didn't see it was Conway tweeting this at first, so I agree. Story is still distressing and upsetting regardless.

 

Conversion therapy is one of the most asinine concepts ever, but the fact that people STILL believe in it is pure lunacy.

 

The fact that it was suggested that actual government resources should be used towards it is the insane part for me. That someone is so bothered that LGBTQAI people are all around him, he feels that the government should actually spend money to make sure that they go away.

 

This is solely based on personal experience, so take it for what it's worth. I know a great deal of young people who consider themselves to be right-leaning, and this is complete bullshit to them. I'm optimistic that this will be a complete joke to the overwhelming majority of the population in the near future.

 

I demand homophobia, sexist, and racist conversion therapy.

I love that Fox News actually talked to freaking Scott Baio about Trump's taxes as if his opinion actually was worth anything beyond 0%.

 

People that have never met or connected with someone who is Homosexual think it's a choice...their need for understanding starts there.

Today I raised my hand for the first time at my new school to make a comment on why party members should be able to vote in other parties' primaries, particularly the primaries of third parties

And I ended up calling Gary Johnson a doofus. Oops. Already making friends.

 

It seems so strange to me that those people who think it's a choice are also the ones who have no problem saying "that guy seems gay" and remarking on the natural femininity of a man, etc.
