Yeah I do severely doubt they’ll do the same stipulation stuff this time - we know for a fact Cole is wrestling on the 29th

 

Not surprised that the shows are better in a PPV setting instead of when they’re trying to cram 200 people into 2 hours of TV time plus commercials.

 

I think that was def the best AEW match ever. By far.

I love MJF on PPVs but not so much on my TV every Wednesday, if that makes sense. I hope he’s given/gives a little more going forward on a weekly basis in terms of switching it up a little.

Dude can fucking GO in the ring. But most people don’t catch that because he has to give stereotypical heel promos every week.

Smartest move they made tonight was not wasting 10mins of time throwing a random ass Jade Cargill match onto the card.

 

Still think the way to go is to have an "AEW Original" homegrown babyface be the one who beats Max. If not Hangman than Starks or Darby. Jungle Boy maybe if they hotshot his solo push.

 

It feels like at this point he's about to get a long run (certainly v Adam Cole through DoN, gotta imagine he might well run the whole year through Full Gear), the freshest thing his character could do would be to embrace the Danielson nickname of best in the world, demand Dave give him that award, and take on challengers who speak down on him.

Like he needs to hit that Roman saying "whatever, fine, we'll fight" level of cockiness that Roman hit with KO before the Royal Rumble....where his downfall is not realizing he's in over his head

 

I wouldn’t mind seeing Danielson down in ROH at some point too. It doesn’t seem like him holding a title is in the cards rn for AEW but I’d love another Danielson run with the ROH belt.

 

Starks is the guy, he needs one more marquee feud into the next PPV, and he could be MJF at All Out for sure. But man, really does feel like Hangman is that dude after tonight.

 

But yeah I think Cole is next to get an MJF program because it will coincide with that reality show which Cole is going to be a major part of. They want him as the guy ending Dynamite for awhile while new viewers come in to check out the wrestlers they saw In the reality show.

 

He also just went on a big streak of wins after his loss to Mox at Grand Slam...feels like he's gonna be begging to eat some pinfalls to mid-card guys

 

I could see Keith Lee working. Maybe do Keith Lee vs MJF for All Out and gauge how over he gets. If crowd is hot for him and the moment feels right pull the trigger. If not do Darby at Full Gear

 

Cody Rhodes and MJF holding the heavyweight titles for the two major promotions for the majority of 2023 is kind of cool

 

He’s definitely in a spot where he can go work the mid-card and just put on bangers for AEW. I think with how they’re taping ROH atm, he can pop down and wrestle two matches during tapings too. With how important he was to ROH back in the day, I’d like to see him on Supercard of Honor
